We met our senior year of high school through social media and mutual friends, and ended up going to prom together. After graduation, life pulled us in different directions. I went to the University of Mississippi and Dustin went to Southern Miss to play baseball; over time we lost touch. During Christmas break of our senior year of college, we reconnected, and we’ve been together ever since, a little over three years now. We live in Hattiesburg, MS during the off-season with our baby, Millie (our miniature schnauzer), and during baseball season me and Millie travel often to wherever Dustin is playing. Dustin is currently with the Kansas City Royals organization, so life is busy between us both working full-time, traveling like crazy, and chasing Millie. But God has truly blessed us and our families, and we wouldn’t change a thing. Our life together may be a little chaotic, but it’s the sweetest kind that’s full of love, growth, and gratitude for every season we get to share.
